Rosé

Donelan Rosé continues to be a wine that can be enjoyed both while lounging on a summer day and as a thought-provoking addition to a tasting menu. It contains loads of nuance and depth that comes from a range of red fruit sources in our portfolio. The Donelan Rosé composition changes from year to year, but the enticing freshness and intense grapefruit character remain constant.

Description

Description

Donelan Wines Rosé is always a fun wine to make and release before summer arrives. We love the free and easy nature of drinking Rosé, especially when paired with a heatwave and a swimming pool! Rosé is also an exciting part of winemaking because it’s the first wine from a vintage to go to market. So, when our Rosé is great we know we’re in for a treat with the rest of the wines.

Like other wines in the Donelan portfolio, our Rosé is approached with thoughtfulness and a desire to make the best wine possible. Each lot is fermented in neutral French oak and bottled early to retain fresh and lively character. The key players are based entirely on vintage variation, making it a true ode to the vintage. Any combination of Pinot Noir, Syrah, Grenache, or Mourvedre can become our Rosé recipe for a single vintage.
